The Habit Factor® PRO App Reviews

Great program!

Just read the book and started my first goal on the app. I can already see how powerful this will be. An iPad version and desktop or web app would be great... synced on iCloud of course.

Nice Apps but...

It just miss some reminders and some options maybe for the tracking habits but overall nice apps

Good motivation

This is a good app to keep you on track with any resolution you make or any goals you set. It could be improved with a daily reminder. Also its currently an all or none process. So it my goal was 8 glasses of water but I only drank 7 then I failed. So being able to log multiples of the same thing would make this app better and 5 stars from me

Solid app

It does everything that I ask of it. The worst thing I can say about this app is that its no better than lift or wonderful day

I liked this app a lot but...

This app needs a major rewrite. The UI is now dated and under goal settings you cannot see what you are typing in the reasons why you want to achieve the goal. I really liked this app and it could be the best of breed for the habit apps but the developer seems to be doing minimal upkeep. Just checked the app today (1st Jan 2014) and it still is not functioning properly)

Love it

Ive had this app for a long while now and nothing else comes close - it has everything I need. Incidentally I cannot reproduce the problem described by the previous reviewer - its working perfectly for me (iOS 6).

Crashes constantly

I have only been able to enter 2 goals because the app crashes whenever I try to enter a new one. The Habits field used to be fine when I first purchased the app but now its crashing constantly as I try to enter a new habit as well. These kinds of issues are unacceptable considering the cost of the app!!

Useful but barely performs at baseline crashing incessantly

Crashes over and over again repeatedly in the same session. Otherwise good basic form based application. Potentially useful...

Solid basic app to change your ways.

Does what it says its going to. What else can you ask.

Hurry up and fix what you’ve broken!

I can’t even use it. Yes, you’ve acknowledged that you broke it (in the last update) for several users…that doesn’t do me much good until you fix it!!!!

Waste of money

App kept crashing and deleting everything I had filled in. Bought a cheaper one that works great.

user-friendly and effective

Ive had this for a week and am loving it so far. Its really easy to use and it feels great to check off a habit each time. Id love it if: - there was one level above Goals, called "Themes" or something. e.g. Theme: Health, Goal: Lose 5kg, Run 5k in 9 weeks, then have specific habits to support those. - Habits could be deleted permanently - Goal names could be reused thank you!

Cannot login twitter.

I almost satisfied this app, Please fix twitter log in problem. I tried many times, but I cannot log in twitter .

Really useful

Despite some minor issues

should be more intuitive

requires a little too much "learning" plus reading all the FAQs to comprehend what is being measured and why

Push!

Could you be more annoying? :)

Good!

Useful, very simple app! Recommend it!

Great for its time... but needing an update.

If you dont have a mail account set up, there is a popup every. single. time. you. open. the. app.... Its quite annoying. Also, entering text into the "Why?" section of a goal can sometimes lose all my typing! One miss tap and poof, your long reason is blank.... very annoying. Other than those issues, this app was well thought out and quite functional. For building a new routine or breaking old habits, this app can be quite helpful. I have always thought that having a concrete, tangible goal paired with approprate habits or "micro tasks" would be the best possible productivity app.... This app does have the top-level goals and sub-level habits, but there is no distinctive micro-task. This would be great for big goals that have steps but are not necessarily habit based... For example, a goal could be "buy a house", with habits/tasks such as "make a future budget", "inquire about financing", "call a real estate agent", etc. The next task could activate the day after the previous task is marked as completed.

Useful app

This app does what I expected, and is a big step up from the built-in Reminders on the iPhone that I was using before. A couple of suggestions: - an interval for bi-weekly/semi-monthly habits - the ability to track whether you have performed an activity three times a week, for example, without referring to specific days - optional alarm sounds that remind you to do certain activities at a particular time when that is relevant (e.g. meditate in the morning).

lots of bugs and really slow

Several of the functions do not work. The goal function is inactive, and tapping it just quits the app and brings you back to your homepage. Same thing with overview function.
