The Habit Factor® PRO app good for
... here are some recommendations/suggestions/feedback:
- On Iphone 4 with iOS 4.1 the multi tasking doesnt work (the app is not kept in memory so it reloads each time you switch back to it).
- It takes more time to change each fields on edit pages because they have to be validated by clicking the "done" button. Its probably unecessary.
- Allow to setup Habits "Once a week" (which, unlike setting only one given day as a target day, allows to do it any day).
- Buying the pro version through the in app purchase feature didnt register me as having bought the app on the itunes store (which I needed to give feedback). Might be an Apple issue but I had to delete and purchase the pro app to be able to comment here (and not on the lite feedback form)

Best app I could find for habit tracking. Actual version runs realy stable. What I expect are some additional functions like an e-mail export of all collected data as well as the possibilty to delete old data sets. Waiting for an update, but also looking for an alternative.
Im looking forward to the update. Ive been using it for about ten days, and it seems to have some stating power. You sure cant beat the price.
I have to be fair to the developer and cancel my last review, as the developer replied to me very quickly, and the problem was resolved by deleting and re-installing the app.
I am using this app for a number of months, and it works as intended and very helpful in establishing new habits. Thank you.
It would be better if you could transfer data from the lite version to the new version
I like the basic premise of this app. Its easy to go in and check off the habits Ive completed for the day, and the badge shows how many I have left to do. Beyond that, I think its too complicated.
Some bad moments
But too many bugs. No possibility to delete tracked habits. Habits are still in the track view although you deleted them in in the other view. Please update!
This is a wonderful app. That sums it up!
I just have one technical problem. Whenever I hit "Settings," the app crashes. The same thing happens in Virtues, which is also a lovely app. I dont know if its just me or not, though.
Also a nitpicky note. Apparently you cant activate a goal without setting an end date. But for some of them, the notion is problematic. For example, I want to continue improving my grasp of my second language; but I dont think there will ever be a set date when I "arrive" at that - its ongoing by nature. Hmm. Oh well. I just projected those goals/habits into the future, not sure what Ill do with them then.
Anyway... these seem to be overall very good apps so thats the take-home message.
I used to really like this app but its gotten worse over time. Its now almost useless. For three weeks it wouldnt work at all because of a daylight savings bug. During that time, I completely got out of the habit of using it. When that was finally fixed, the new version was extremely slow. There are other things that bother me, though. If I do an extra habit during the week, theres no way to add it in. Theres no quick way to check how well I did a certain task several months ago. Lastly, its too expensive for what you get. It should be priced at 99 cents.

Pretty useless for $7. Poorly coded, still some bugs, a waste of money. This is a 0.99$ app.
This app needs a major rewrite. The UI is now dated and under goal settings you cannot see what you are typing in the reasons why you want to achieve the goal.
I really liked this app and it could be the best of breed for the habit apps but the developer seems to be doing minimal upkeep.
Just checked the app today (1st Jan 2014) and it still is not functioning properly)
